Farm Plasteel for Consecration

Plasteel is used at the Shrine to raise weapon and Curio rarity.

PC / Global, current live version as of 2026-10-24
WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Mission routes and side rooms for Plasteel; Hadron’s Shrine aboard the Mourningstar for spending.

To build a Plasteel reserve, collect mission pickups and caches, complete each mission, and spend the credited material at Hadron’s Shrine. Consecration raises an item’s rarity and can open additional equipment options. Costs depend on the item and crafting step, so inspect the Shrine preview before committing. Later upgrades can also require Diamantine; do not set a collection target until you have checked the item you plan to improve.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Have a weapon or Curio you intend to improve.
  • Choose a mission your group can reliably complete.
  • Check the Shrine’s displayed cost to set a target for the planned action.
  1. At the Shrine, select the intended item and inspect the next Consecrate action’s Plasteel cost.
  2. Return to the mission board and choose a run suitable for the squad.
  3. Search visible branches and caches for Plasteel when the area is safe.
  4. Collect pickups before extraction; they are gathered during the mission.
  5. Complete the mission so the collected resources are banked.
  6. Repeat the safe pickup sweep until the Shrine preview shows you can afford the action.
  7. Consecrate the item and review the result before deciding on another upgrade.

Farming tips

  • Use the selected item’s cost preview instead of assuming a fixed price; costs can vary by item and step.
  • Check Sire Melk’s live contract board for a Plasteel collection objective before launching.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeat collection missions until you have enough Plasteel for the planned action. Consecration consumes materials, while contract objectives are weekly and depend on the current board.

Common mistakes

  • Farming without checking the target cost: inspect the item’s Shrine preview first.
  • Assuming every tier costs only Plasteel: later Consecration steps can add Diamantine.
  • Missing a matching contract: check Melk’s active objectives before starting a run.

When to stop or switch

Stop when the Shrine preview shows you can afford the chosen Consecration and any other required materials are available.
