WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
The Fadefields, Carcadia Burn and Terminus Range each have one Primordial Vault. The entrance appears on the map after collecting that region’s three fragments.
Primordial Vaults turn regional key collection into a multi-arena challenge. Insert the completed key, accept the side quest, clear three enemy arenas and defeat the Guardian in the fourth. Collect the permanent power-up after the fight. These are finite regional progression rewards, though the encounters also supply XP and can be revisited.
Collect all three Vault Key Fragments for the region.
Complete the campaign to access UVH progression.
For the UVH5 route, be at UVH Rank 4 and complete the required Vault challenges.
Open the regional map and travel to the revealed Primordial Vault icon.
Approach the entrance pillar and insert the assembled regional key.
Enter the purple portal and accept the side quest at the start.
Use the activated launch ramp to reach the first arena.
Clear the enemy waves in the first three arenas, advancing through each portal or transition.
Enter the fourth arena and defeat the Vault Guardian.
Collect the permanent power-up and check the UVH challenge menu for progress.
Farming tips
The key only appears after its region’s three fragments are collected, so finish the collection before traveling to the Vault.
If pursuing UVH5, check the Rank 4 challenge list before choosing which Vault to clear.
Repeat, collect and use
Each regional key and permanent power-up is a one-time progression reward. Vault fights can be revisited for XP and encounter rewards, but the power-up is not a repeatable drop.
Common mistakes
Entering before the full key is assembled: collect all three regional fragments and confirm the map icon appears.
Leaving after the third arena: the Guardian is in the fourth arena and must be defeated for the power-up.
Clearing Vaults without checking UVH objectives: Rank 4 Vault challenges matter for the Rank 5 route.
When to stop or switch
Stop after collecting the permanent power-up and completing any tracked UVH challenge. Revisit only if you want more XP or encounter rewards.
