WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
The Crimson Armory, reached during the Armory Assault mission in The Secret Armory of General Knoxx.
Treat the Armory as a timed cache sweep, not a place to inspect every item at leisure. Move through the rooms, open cases, and keep only items that improve your build or fill a useful gap. The countdown means preparation and a clear exit plan matter. Follow the mission’s intended access and exit rules; older exploit routes may not behave the same way in Enhanced.
Bring enough ammunition to clear the required Lance forces.
Make inventory space before entering the cache rooms.
Know the mission exit route so you can leave before access locks.
Start Armory Assault and follow the mission route to the Crimson Armory.
Defeat General Knoxx and proceed into the Armory when the mission opens the way.
Use the available lifts and control panels to reach the cache levels.
Open the cases as you pass, prioritizing red and Lance cases when time is short.
Compare each weapon with your equipped gear and keep upgrades or useful alternatives.
Mark unwanted items mentally or collect only those with resale value; avoid lengthy menu sorting in the timed area.
Leave through the mission’s intended exit before the countdown prevents further access.
Farming tips
Prepare your loadout and free inventory before starting the timed sweep.
Prioritize cases on the route you can reach safely; completing a smaller sweep is better than getting locked in while exploring.
Repeat, collect and use
Armory access can be obtained again through the DLC’s repeat mission route after the relevant progression. The timed collection itself is limited to each visit; follow the current mission rules on every run.
Common mistakes
Entering with a full backpack: sell or store items first so wanted gear can be collected.
Stopping to compare every item in detail: make quick keep-or-leave decisions and review later.
Assuming an old exploit will preserve access: use the mission’s stated route and exit before the countdown ends.
When to stop or switch
Leave as soon as you have secured the upgrades you wanted or the countdown makes further exploration unsafe. Return on another authorized Armory run if you still need gear.
