A practical spending routine converts Haze into character levels or stronger weapons and Blood Veils without confusing those separate costs.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Use a Mistle’s Level Up option for levels. Speak to Murasame at Home Base for weapon and Blood Veil upgrades.
Haze supports several progression choices, so decide what you need before spending it. A Mistle handles character leveling; Murasame at Home Base upgrades weapons and Blood Veils using Haze plus the appropriate materials. Upgrading gear and raising character level are separate actions, and one does not substitute for the other. This guide is a spending loop rather than a Haze farm: earn Haze through the activities you can clear, check the displayed costs, then invest in equipment you actually use. Upgrade-material tiers and availability depend on story progress and inventory.
Reach Home Base and unlock Murasame’s equipment service for upgrades.
Own the weapon or Blood Veil you intend to keep using.
Have the materials shown for the desired upgrade tier.
At a Mistle, open Level Up and read the Haze cost for the next level before confirming.
Consider whether that level helps your current build more than an equipment improvement would.
At Home Base, speak with Murasame and inspect the upgrade options for your equipped weapon and Blood Veil.
Check each item’s material and Haze requirements; identify any missing metal before committing.
Prioritize the weapon and veil you rely on rather than spreading materials across unused gear.
Return to a suitable Haze activity if you lack currency, or explore for the missing material if that is the blocker.
Recheck the displayed stats and costs after each purchase.
Farming tips
Use the upgrade screen to confirm the exact metal tier required; do not buy materials based on assumptions about the next upgrade.
Keep a reserve if a planned level or upgrade is close, but spend before a risky boss attempt if losing carried Haze is a concern.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat whenever you earn Haze or gather upgrade materials. Each purchase consumes resources; the service itself is not a farm or a renewable reward.
Common mistakes
Treating levels and upgrades as one service: level at a Mistle, and upgrade gear through Murasame.
Spending Haze on equipment you have already replaced: focus on the weapon and veil currently supporting your build.
Buying the wrong metal tier: inspect Murasame’s requirement before purchasing from Coco or choosing a material route.
When to stop or switch
Stop spending when the planned level or gear upgrade is complete, or when the next purchase would leave you without the Haze or material needed for your immediate progression goal.
