Undead Asylum, in the arena beneath the collapsed floor in the starting courtyard.

Defeating the Stray Demon on the return visit to the Undead Asylum awards a normal Titanite Slab. This is a one-time reward in each game cycle, not a respawning farm. The slab is valuable for taking an eligible normal weapon from +14 to +15, so decide which weapon will benefit before using it. The boss arena is reached through the broken floor in the starting courtyard, and the fight is optional relative to the main route but can be demanding.

How to farm

Before you go

Reach Firelink Shrine and return to the Undead Asylum.
Bring a weapon upgraded enough to handle a boss-length fight.
Carry healing and a plan for managing the boss’s area attacks.

Return to the Undead Asylum and make your way back to the starting courtyard.
Approach the broken floor and drop into the arena below.
Keep mobile and punish the Stray Demon after its attacks rather than staying close during area attacks.
Defeat the boss and collect the Titanite Slab reward.
Check the inventory to confirm the slab was received.
Take it to the appropriate blacksmith when the chosen weapon reaches its eligible upgrade step.

Farming tips

Normal Titanite Slabs are used for the final normal weapon reinforcement from +14 to +15; check the weapon path before committing.
This reward is guaranteed upon defeating the Stray Demon, so Item Discovery gear is unnecessary for the boss reward.

Repeat, collect and use

This reward is one-time per game cycle. The Stray Demon does not provide a repeatable slab farm within that cycle.

Common mistakes

Assuming the slab is a random drop: defeat the Stray Demon to claim its guaranteed reward.
Using the slab on an ineligible or lower-priority weapon: check upgrade requirements and choose the intended weapon first.
Dropping into the arena without healing ready: prepare for the boss encounter before entering.

When to stop or switch

Stop after confirming the slab is in your inventory; pursue Darkwraiths or another cycle only if you need more slabs.
