Where to farm

Royal Wood, in Black Dragon Kalameet’s boss arena, behind the larger waterfall on the right when viewed from the top of the ladder.

In the Artorias of the Abyss content included with Dark Souls: Remastered, a Titanite Slab can be collected from a chest behind a waterfall in Black Dragon Kalameet’s arena. This is a fixed pickup, not an enemy farm, and the arena can be dangerous while Kalameet remains active. The slab can reinforce an eligible normal, Lightning, or Crystal weapon at its final step, or an eligible armor set. Decide where it will go before collecting; once secured, there is no reason to repeat the chest route in that game cycle.

How to farm

Before you go

Access the Artorias of the Abyss area and reach Kalameet’s arena in Royal Wood.
Bring a Homeward Bone or the Homeward miracle for a quick exit if desired.
Have enough health and stamina to cross the arena safely.
Identify the weapon or armor that will use the slab.

Enter Kalameet’s arena and reach the top of the ladder overlooking the valley.
Face across the arena and locate the larger waterfall on the right.
Move across the open area toward that waterfall, watching Kalameet and avoiding attacks.
Pass behind the waterfall and open the chest to take the Titanite Slab.
Confirm the slab appears in your inventory before leaving the area.
Use Homeward or a Homeward Bone to exit if you have one, then take the slab to the relevant blacksmith.

Farming tips

The chest can be reached before defeating Kalameet, but the crossing is riskier while the boss is active.
Check the reinforcement path: this normal slab supports final normal, Lightning, or Crystal weapon upgrades, not colored Fire, Magic, or Divine paths.

Repeat, collect and use

The chest reward is one-time per game cycle. It does not respawn after resting, so this is a collection objective rather than a farm.

Common mistakes

Assuming Kalameet must be defeated first: the chest is accessible beforehand, though doing so carries more risk.
Searching the wrong waterfall: use the larger waterfall on the right from the ladder’s top viewpoint.
Leaving without checking inventory: confirm the slab was collected before exiting the arena.

When to stop or switch

Stop after the slab is confirmed in your inventory; pursue another slab source only if you need more than this finite pickup provides.
