WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Lost Izalith, at the chest containing the Red Titanite Slab and among the Chaos Eaters in the area.

This route combines a fixed Red Titanite Slab pickup with a chance to obtain further red materials from Chaos Eaters. The slab is a finite reward, while enemy drops are repeatable but uncertain. Red Titanite supports Fire and Chaos upgrade paths, so check the weapon’s reinforcement stage before collecting with a specific build in mind. Lost Izalith is a late-game area with hazardous terrain; take a measured route and return to a bonfire rather than rushing across unsafe ground.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Reach Lost Izalith through Demon Ruins.
  • Bring a reliable weapon or spell for the Chaos Eaters.
  • Use equipment suited to the area’s hazardous terrain.
  • Optional: equip Item Discovery gear for enemy drops.
  1. Enter Lost Izalith from Demon Ruins and follow the route you can traverse safely.
  2. Locate and open the chest with the fixed Red Titanite Slab pickup.
  3. Confirm the slab is in your inventory before leaving the area.
  4. If you need more red materials, approach Chaos Eaters carefully and defeat them one at a time.
  5. Check their drops and collect any Titanite materials before moving on.
  6. Return to a bonfire and reset only if you are continuing the enemy-drop portion.

Farming tips

  • The Red Titanite Slab is for the final Fire or Chaos reinforcement step; confirm your chosen weapon’s path first.
  • Do not assume an enemy drop is guaranteed just because the fixed chest has been collected.

Repeat, collect and use

The chest pickup is one-time per game cycle. Chaos Eaters can be fought again after resting, but additional red Titanite drops are rare and not guaranteed.

Common mistakes

  • Leaving without opening the slab chest: collect and verify the fixed reward before beginning a drop farm.
  • Trying to farm across hazardous ground without a safe return plan: secure the slab first, then decide whether more attempts are worthwhile.
  • Using the slab on a weapon outside its supported path: check the Fire or Chaos branch requirements at the blacksmith.

When to stop or switch

Stop after taking the fixed slab unless you have a clear need for more Fire or Chaos materials; end the enemy loop when the intended upgrade is funded.
