Tooth Trap lines help turn enemy approach lanes into a managed source of drops, but every triggered trap needs attention and resetting.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
An open approach lane outside the crop area and away from camp storage.
Craft Tooth Traps at an Alchemy Engine, position them across a likely hound approach, and draw enemies through the line while staying clear yourself. Traps have limited uses, so collect any drops and reset them after they trigger. The route converts an anticipated attack into a safer managed encounter only if you keep track of trap condition and replacement materials. Do not place the line beside crops or camp storage where the fight could damage the areas you are protecting.
A safe path that lets you lead enemies across the traps without standing on them.
Craft Tooth Traps at the Alchemy Engine using the required materials.
Choose an approach lane where enemies are likely to cross and where the trap line will not obstruct camp work.
Place traps along that lane, leaving yourself a clear route around them.
When enemies approach, draw them across the traps rather than standing within the line.
Wait until the encounter is safe, then collect drops from defeated enemies.
Inspect each triggered trap and reset it using the available materials.
Replace traps that are no longer usable before relying on the line again.
Farming tips
Keep spare Logs, Rope, and Hound’s Teeth available if you intend to maintain the line.
Place traps where you can check them without walking into the enemy path.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat for later encounters while you have traps and materials to reset or replace them. Traps have limited uses; a triggered line is not a permanent defense until it is serviced.
Common mistakes
Leaving triggered traps as if they were still ready: inspect and reset them after use.
Placing traps beside crops or storage: move the line to an open approach lane away from vulnerable camp areas.
Running through the line yourself: route enemies across it while keeping your own path clear.
When to stop or switch
Stop maintaining the line when the immediate threat has passed or you lack reset materials. Rebuild or reset it before depending on it for a later approach.
