Removing a crop from an owned plot can yield a usable sprout, letting you move planting stock to another plot.

Where to farm

At an owned grow plot containing the crop you want to move or preserve.

Use the Multitool on a plant in a grow plot you own, collect the sprout produced by removal, and plant it where you want the crop to continue growing. The return quantity is not guaranteed here.

How to farm

Before you go

Owned grow plot with a planted crop
Multitool

Go to the owned plot containing the plant you want to recover.
Equip the Multitool and target the plant itself.
Use the Multitool to remove the plant from the plot.
Check the resulting drop and collect any usable sprout.
Carry the sprout to an available grow plot.
Plant it in the new plot and maintain suitable growing conditions.
Confirm the plot is occupied before removing or rearranging other crops.

Farming tips

The method is described for plants in plots you own; do not assume it applies to unowned crops.
The amount returned can vary, so avoid planning around a guaranteed sprout count.

Repeat, collect and use

This is a limited transfer loop: repeat for other owned plants you want to move, but each removal ends that plant’s current growth in its original plot. Replant only if you have a usable sprout.

Common mistakes

Targeting the plot instead of the plant: aim at the crop with the Multitool.
Removing plants without a destination plot: prepare an open plot before moving a crop.
Assuming every removal returns a sprout: check the drop before relying on it as future planting stock.
