Caterium Ore is a raw solid resource used primarily to make Caterium Ingots for advanced electronics. It can also feed Converter recipes for Nitrogen Gas or Bauxite when those recipes are unlocked. The bottleneck is finding an accessible node with suitable purity and extracting it at a rate your downstream machines can use.
Filter a resource, then select a marker or location below for its purity, elevation and coordinates. The map is hosted here.

How to farm
Use the on-page resource map, filter for Caterium Ore, inspect node purity, and choose an accessible node. The map represents the standard layout; if your world uses optional resource or purity randomization, match the map settings to your world.
Before you go
A Miner and power connection for node extraction.
Unlock any downstream recipe and machine you plan to use.
Open the on-page resource map and filter by Caterium Ore.
Compare available nodes’ purity and select one you can access.
Place the appropriate Miner on the node and connect power.
Connect the Miner’s output to a Smelter for the default Caterium Ingot recipe.
Provide three ore per ingot batch and collect ingots for Quickwire or other electronics chains.
If using a Converter recipe, select its unlocked recipe and route ore to that machine instead.
Farming tips
The default ingot recipe uses 3 Caterium Ore for 1 Caterium Ingot.
Alternate: Tempered Caterium Ingot and Alternate: Leached Caterium Ingot are optional unlocks, not default production.
Repeat, collect and use
Keep mining while downstream demand remains; check the ore buffer and adjust extraction or transport when the consuming line starves.
Common mistakes
Do not expect an ore deposit to provide finished Caterium Ingots; smelt the ore.
Do not assume the standard map position or purity matches a world with randomization enabled.
When to stop or switch
Stop or redirect extraction when storage and downstream buffers are full, or the current production target is met.
