WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Use the resource map to locate a Copper Ore node. Place an appropriate Miner on the node and move the ore by conveyor to a Smelter or another intended consumer.

Copper Ore is a raw resource mined from Copper Ore nodes. Smelt it into Copper Ingots for electrical and other production, or use an unlocked Converter recipe to turn it into Bauxite or Caterium Ore. Find a node on the resource map, then check its location and purity against your world before building. The map shows the standard resource and purity layout; randomized worlds can differ.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • A Copper Ore node and an appropriate Miner.
  • Power and transport for the Miner, if required by your setup.
  • A Smelter and Copper Ingot recipe for ingot production; a Converter and the relevant unlocked recipe for other uses.
  1. Filter the resource map for Copper Ore and compare nearby nodes by purity and access.
  2. Check your world’s resource settings, then confirm the selected node in person.
  3. Place an appropriate Miner on the node and connect power if needed.
  4. Run a conveyor from the Miner to your intended destination.
  5. For Copper Ingots, feed the ore into a Smelter; for Bauxite or Caterium Ore, use the corresponding unlocked Converter recipe.
  6. Check the Miner, belt, and destination input to find where delivery is falling short.

Farming tips

  • Higher-purity nodes support a higher mining rate, all else equal.
  • Copper Ore is gathered from nodes; it has no default crafting recipe.
  • Optional alternate recipes that use Copper Ore require their respective unlocks.

Repeat, collect and use

Keep the Miner running and adjust transport or extraction when the downstream input repeatedly runs short.

Common mistakes

  • Do not search for Copper Ingots on the map; mine Copper Ore and smelt it.
  • Do not assume map locations or purity match a world with randomized resources.

When to stop or switch

Stop expanding extraction when the downstream buffer stays supplied at the rate your consumers need.
