How to craft Iron Rebar
Quantities below are per complete recipe batch. Rates are for one machine at 100% clock. Keep every output moving so byproducts do not block production.
Use a Constructor with the Iron Rebar recipe, or craft it at an available crafting station if the recipe is accessible there. Supply Iron Rods and collect the output.
Iron Rebar is ammunition for the Rebar Gun and can be fired for self-defense. The default recipe makes it in a Constructor from Iron Rods, so it is not a resource node. Each batch uses one Iron Rod to produce one Iron Rebar. The practical bottleneck is maintaining a rod supply, which itself depends on Iron Ingots, and carrying enough ammunition for the planned exploration or defense. Iron Rebar is distinct from other rebar ammunition, which uses separate recipes and ingredients.

Crafting tips
At 100% clock, a Constructor makes 15 Iron Rebar per minute from 15 Iron Rods per minute.
Other rebar types use separate recipes and ingredients; check the selected recipe before loading inputs.
Carry only the ammunition you expect to use so inventory space remains available for exploration.
Repeat, collect and use
Check ammunition after outings and replenish the amount you expect to carry before the next trip. Keep enough Iron Rods available for this line's demand.
Common mistakes
Searching for rebar deposits or feeding Iron Ingots directly into the default rebar recipe.
Assuming Iron Rebar is interchangeable with Stun, Shatter, or Explosive Rebar.
Expecting production to continue when the Constructor has no Iron Rod input or its output is full.
When to stop or switch
Stop when your intended ammunition reserve is full or the Iron Rod supply is needed elsewhere.
