Nuclear Pasta is Project Part #9, made in a Particle Accelerator for delivery through the Space Elevator. It is also used in the Singularity Cell recipe. The default accelerator recipe combines Copper Powder and a Pressure Conversion Cube. It consumes substantial power that varies between 500 and 1,500 MW, averaging 1,000 MW, so prepare the power grid as well as the ingredient supply before starting production.

GET STARTED

How to craft

Build and power a Particle Accelerator after unlocking its recipe. Feed it Copper Powder and Pressure Conversion Cubes, then route the finished part to the Space Elevator or another planned consumer.

Before you craft

  • Particle Accelerator and Nuclear Pasta recipe unlocked
  • 200 Copper Powder and 1 Pressure Conversion Cube per batch
  • Power capacity for 500–1,500 MW variable demand
  1. Unlock the Particle Accelerator and Nuclear Pasta recipe through progression.
  2. Set up Copper Powder production and supply 200 powder per recipe batch.
  3. Produce Pressure Conversion Cubes and route 1 cube per batch to the accelerator.
  4. Connect the machine to a power grid that can accommodate variable demand up to 1,500 MW.
  5. Start production and send the finished Nuclear Pasta to the Space Elevator or Singularity Cell production.

Crafting tips

  • Each batch consumes 200 Copper Powder and 1 Pressure Conversion Cube and produces 1 Nuclear Pasta.
  • At 100% clock, the recipe uses 100 Copper Powder and 0.5 Pressure Conversion Cube per minute, yielding 0.5 Nuclear Pasta per minute.
  • Power averages 1,000 MW but can vary from 500 to 1,500 MW.

Repeat, collect and use

Keep both ingredient lines supplied and the power grid stable while you need Nuclear Pasta. Check the output route before increasing production.

Common mistakes

  • Searching for a Nuclear Pasta resource deposit instead of manufacturing it.
  • Planning for a constant 500 MW draw and overlooking the possible rise to 1,500 MW.

When to stop or switch

Stop when the Space Elevator delivery target or planned Singularity Cell stock is met.
