How to craft Packaged Ionized Fuel
Quantities below are per complete recipe batch. Rates are for one machine at 100% clock. Keep every output moving so byproducts do not block production.
Place a Packager with access to Ionized Fuel and Empty Fluid Tanks, then move the packaged output to its destination.
Packaged Ionized Fuel is the solid transport form of Ionized Fuel. It can fuel vehicles and the Jetpack. The Packager recipe uses Ionized Fuel and Empty Fluid Tanks; each batch consumes 4 m³ of Ionized Fuel and 2 tanks to produce 2 packaged items. The listed output rate is 40 items per minute. Unpackaging returns Ionized Fuel and the Empty Fluid Tanks, making tank circulation part of a sustainable production line. Keep the fluid supply and tank delivery close to the Packager, then route the finished items where they are needed.

How to craft
Before you craft
A Packager with the Packaged Ionized Fuel recipe available.
Ionized Fuel and Empty Fluid Tanks supplied to the Packager.
Place a Packager where both inputs can be delivered.
Connect the Ionized Fuel line and feed Empty Fluid Tanks to the machine.
Select Packaged Ionized Fuel and confirm that both inputs are available.
Route the output to vehicle or Jetpack use, or send it onward for transport.
To recover the liquid, select Unpackage Ionized Fuel in a Packager.
Return the Empty Fluid Tanks from unpackaging to a packaging line.
Crafting tips
Each standard batch makes 2 items from 4 m³ Ionized Fuel and 2 Empty Fluid Tanks.
Use Empty Fluid Tanks for this recipe, not Empty Canisters.
Repeat, collect and use
Keep Ionized Fuel and Empty Fluid Tanks flowing, clear the output, and return tanks through unpackaging.
Common mistakes
Looking for packaged Ionized Fuel at a deposit instead of making it in a Packager.
Supplying Empty Canisters instead of Empty Fluid Tanks, or failing to replenish empty tanks.
When to stop or switch
Stop when fuel transport or equipment needs are covered, or when Ionized Fuel or tanks should be allocated elsewhere.
