The Plort Market is the Ranch’s outlet for turning plorts into Newbucks. Since prices vary by plort type, check the board before you unload a large stock. Sale decisions should also account for crafting: plorts are Slime Science ingredients, so keep a recipe reserve before sending the rest to the Market.
Before you go Collected plorts from fed slimes. Access to the Ranch Market terminal. A separate reserve for any plorts needed by your current Slime Science recipe. Gather plorts from corrals or bring stored plorts back to the Ranch. Sort the stock by type so you can see what you have available to sell. Check the Market price board for the current values of the plorts you collected. Open the Lab recipe book or fabricator plan for your next gadget and reserve its required plorts. Load only the remaining sale stock into the Market collector. Use the resulting Newbucks for the ranch or science goal you selected. After the next feeding cycle, check prices again before selling another batch. Farming tips Compare the board across plort types when you have a mixed supply rather than selling blindly. Keep construction stock separate from sale stock, such as in a Silo, to avoid spending ingredients by accident. Repeat, collect and use Repeat whenever you collect more plorts; sales are ongoing, while each batch is consumed by the Market.
Common mistakes Selling all rare plorts at once: reserve ingredients for the gadget you plan to craft. Assuming a plort’s price is fixed: check the current board at the time of sale. Loading unsorted stock without a goal: decide whether you need Newbucks or recipe materials first. When to stop or switch Stop selling a type once you have the Newbucks needed for your current purchase or have reached the amount you can spare after recipe reserves.
