Make Refined Wood at home from gathered Wood and Seeds when a crafting or building recipe calls for the processed material.

WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Gather from Saplings or Sprigs, then process at your home Cutter Grinder or Stonecutter.
Refined Wood is a station-made material, not a separate field node. Collect Wood and Seeds, turn Seeds into Seed Oil, then apply that oil to Wood at a Cutter Grinder, also called a Stonecutter in crafting references. This gives the trip a clear gathering target and a practical home-processing loop.
Seeds gathered from Cattail, Cyclamen, Foxtail, Poppy or Rye.
Inventory space for raw materials and the finished Refined Wood.
Decide how much Refined Wood your next recipe needs and reserve space for the output.
Harvest Wood from Saplings or Sprigs in the field.
Gather Seeds from Cattail, Cyclamen, Foxtail, Poppy or Rye during the same trip or a separate plant run.
Return to base and open the Cutter Grinder/Stonecutter recipe list.
Process Seeds into Seed Oil at the station.
Use the Seed Oil with Wood in the Refined Wood recipe.
Move the finished Refined Wood to storage or directly to the station for your next craft.
Farming tips
Kalev’s Cutter Grinder guidance describes both the Seed Oil step and sanding Wood into Refined Wood.
Keep some Seeds aside for other processing or planting plans before using the surplus for oil.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the gathering and two-stage processing chain whenever you need more. The route depends on collected Wood and Seeds; it is not a guaranteed crop-regrowth farm.
Common mistakes
Trying to make Refined Wood directly from raw Seeds and Wood: make Seed Oil first.
Using a different workstation: check the Cutter Grinder/Stonecutter recipe list.
Spending every Seed on oil: retain a reserve for other Seed uses.
When to stop or switch
Stop processing when the current recipe requirement is met and your planned reserve remains; switch to gathering another ingredient if the station recipe is blocked by a different input.
