Buy targeted Classified caches during Global Events

During an active Global Event, its vendor can offer caches focused on featured Classified sets, letting you target a set instead of relying solely on random drops.

PC / Global, Definitive Edition (base game plus Underground, Survival and Last Stand expansions)
WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Global Event vendor in the Terminal beneath the Base of Operations.

Check the current event and cache stock before earning currency. Event modifiers and featured sets rotate, and this route only works while the vendor is active. Open purchased caches from inventory and use or dismantle the contents for your build.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • A Global Event is currently active.
  • Access to the Terminal.
  • Enough event currency for the cache you want.
  1. Visit the Terminal and inspect the active event’s modifier and featured gear sets.
  2. Review the vendor’s cache names, costs, and contents to identify the set you are pursuing.
  3. Open the event activity list and choose an eligible activity whose difficulty you can complete.
  4. Play that activity with the event modifier in mind, then collect the event currency it awards if shown.
  5. Return to the vendor and confirm the targeted cache remains available.
  6. Buy the cache that matches the desired gear set and open it from inventory.
  7. Compare each piece to your current equipment, keeping useful items and processing unwanted ones.

Farming tips

  • Save currency until you have confirmed the cache corresponds to the set you want.
  • If the event is inactive or its cache has rotated away, use a permanent mission or activity source instead.

Repeat, collect and use

Limited to active event windows and available vendor stock. Repeat eligible activities and purchases only while the event and targeted cache are available.

Common mistakes

  • Farming event currency without checking which caches are featured; inspect stock first.
  • Assuming the same event or cache is always active; confirm the Terminal schedule and vendor inventory.
  • Expecting a cache to complete a set; contents are rewards, not a guaranteed missing-piece selection.

When to stop or switch

Stop spending once the desired cache leaves stock, the event ends, or additional pieces no longer improve the target build.
