Classified and high-end gear

Run Legendary missions for Classified pieces

Legendary missions are a difficult repeatable source with a chance to reward Classified Gear.

PC / Global, Definitive Edition (base game plus Underground, Survival and Last Stand expansions)
WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Where to farm

Legendary-difficulty versions of unlocked missions, including Amherst’s Apartment and Grand Central Station where available.

Use Legendary missions when your squad can handle elite enemy pressure and you want a high-difficulty endgame clear. Classified pieces are a chance-based reward, so treat each successful run as another attempt rather than a guarantee.

GET STARTED

How to farm

Before you go

  • Reach World Tier 5 and have a stable endgame loadout.
  • Bring a coordinated squad when possible.
  • Have enough time to complete a demanding mission run.
  1. Open the Manhattan map and inspect which missions offer Legendary difficulty.
  2. Select a mission your group knows or can manage and launch it at Legendary.
  3. Advance from cover to cover, clearing each enemy group before moving into the next area.
  4. Use skills and healing deliberately, and coordinate focus fire on dangerous enemies.
  5. Defeat the final encounter and wait for the mission completion reward.
  6. Inspect the reward for Classified or other useful gear; compare it to your current build.
  7. Keep upgrades, dismantle or sell unwanted drops, and queue another suitable Legendary mission if desired.

Farming tips

  • A full group helps distribute enemy pressure and revive fallen players.
  • The Classified reward is not guaranteed; choose a mission your team can finish reliably rather than spending a session on repeated failed attempts.

Repeat, collect and use

Repeatable. Legendary missions can award Classified Gear, but the drop is chance-based and individual runs may yield other rewards.

Common mistakes

  • Entering with a build that cannot survive elite damage; improve survivability or choose a more manageable activity.
  • Rushing past cover and splitting the team; advance together and clear threats methodically.
  • Assuming one clear guarantees a Classified piece; keep the farm going only while the time and difficulty remain worthwhile.

When to stop or switch

Stop when your group’s clear rate drops, the run is no longer enjoyable, or you have the set piece you were targeting; switch to a less demanding cache or activity route.
