WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Enemies in Black Tusk Retaliations in Washington, D.C. and Warlords of New York; Black Tusk can also progress during other faction Retaliations.
Defeated enemies during Black Tusk Retaliations can drop DIAMOND Transceivers. Build agitation, start the event, and collect drops as you clear its waves. The material’s use is specific to Retaliation-related blueprints; check the crafting interface before farming beyond your needs.
A level-appropriate build for the selected global difficulty.
Inventory space for event drops and materials.
Raise the Black Tusk Agitation Meter by defeating enemies and completing related activities; other faction Retaliations can contribute at a slower rate.
When a Black Tusk Retaliation becomes available, trigger it from the event prompt or map indicator.
Travel to the marked location and begin clearing the event waves.
Pick up drops from defeated enemies as you move through the event; look for DIAMOND Transceivers in the loot notifications and inventory.
Complete any Black Tusk Maneuver objective that appears if you can do so safely; it adds time to the event.
Finish the Retaliation and use the extended post-event loot window to collect remaining drops.
Visit the crafting interface and review which listed blueprints require the material before deciding whether to continue.
Farming tips
Black Tusk Retaliations are permanent, though specific elite squad appearances may be season-limited.
Fight other factions while raising agitation if the Black Tusk meter is progressing slowly; the detailed guide notes this secondary contribution.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat Retaliations as agitation builds. Transceiver drops are tied to event enemies and are not a guaranteed fixed quantity per event.
Common mistakes
Expecting every enemy or event to drop a Transceiver; collect what appears and check inventory.
Leaving loot behind immediately after completion; use the current post-event collection window.
Farming without checking blueprint needs; identify the relevant crafting goal first.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have enough Transceivers for the blueprint you intend to craft, or when the material is no longer listed as a requirement.
