Where to farm
Cave chambers along the route from the valley entrance toward deeper rooms.
When a cave route stops at a dark or blocked passage, treat the gate as a preparation objective. Identify the requirement, return with the needed light or tool, then inspect the newly opened chamber for deposits and hazards. This is a route-unlocking target rather than a promise of a specific resource drop.

Any tool requirement displayed by the route or chamber.
Inventory space and supplies appropriate to cave exploration.
Enter the Cave and explore the accessible chamber until you reach a darkness or tool barrier.
Read the gate condition and identify what preparation is missing.
Return to the village to obtain the required light or tool rather than pushing into an unmet gate.
Re-enter the Cave and follow opened paths toward the barrier.
Meet the displayed requirement and proceed into the newly accessible chamber.
Inspect the chamber for hazards and exposed resource deposits before leaving.
Collect accessible materials with the appropriate tool and note any further gate.
Farming tips
Cave progression is chamber-based; access to a deeper room does not mean every route beyond it is open.
Collect useful exposed materials while already in the new room, but do not assume a guaranteed deposit.
Repeat, collect and use
Opening a darkness gate is a one-time progression step for that route. Returning to opened chambers to collect available resources can be repeated as needed.
Common mistakes
Trying to force a gate without its requirement: prepare the displayed light or tool first.
Rushing past a newly opened chamber: inspect for hazards and materials.
Assuming one gate opens every cave route: check each barrier separately.
When to stop or switch
Stop advancing when the next gate requires preparation you do not have; return after obtaining it, or finish the current resource collection before leaving.
