CRAFTING & INGREDIENTS

AI Limiter acquisition

Use an Assembler with the AI Limiter recipe unlocked. Feed Copper Sheets and Quickwire to its inputs; there is no AI Limiter deposit or node to locate.

AI Limiter is an advanced electronic component made in an Assembler. Its default recipe combines Copper Sheets with Quickwire and yields one AI Limiter per batch. It is used in Electromagnetic Control Rods, Supercomputers, and Nuke Nobelisks; an optional alternate recipe also uses it. The main bottleneck is supplying Quickwire and Copper Sheets together at the rate the assembler consumes them. Recipe rates assume a 100% machine clock.

GET STARTED

How to craft

Before you craft

  • Assembler building and AI Limiter recipe unlocked
  • 5 Copper Sheets and 20 Quickwire per batch
  1. Unlock the AI Limiter recipe and build an Assembler.
  2. Connect a Copper Sheet supply to one input.
  3. Connect a Quickwire supply to the other input.
  4. Route the output to the downstream recipe that needs AI Limiters.
  5. Check both ingredient buffers and the output belt before expanding the line.
  6. Use storage or a smart split if the part must serve multiple factories.

Crafting tips

  • At 100% clock, the recipe consumes 25 Copper Sheets/min and 100 Quickwire/min, producing 5 AI Limiters/min.
  • Prioritize the downstream production goal if several factories compete for limited output.
  • The listed alternate Insulated Crystal Oscillator is an optional recipe unlock, not part of the default AI Limiter recipe.

Repeat, collect and use

Keep both inputs stocked and direct each produced limiter to its current consuming line; refill whichever ingredient runs short first.

Common mistakes

  • Looking for an AI Limiter resource node instead of crafting it in an Assembler.
  • Supplying Copper Sheets while overlooking the much larger Quickwire draw, which can starve the assembler.

When to stop or switch

Pause or redirect production when the target buffer is full or downstream consumers no longer request AI Limiters.
