How to craft Assembly Director System
Quantities below are per complete recipe batch. Rates are for one machine at 100% clock. Keep every output moving so byproducts do not block production.
Unlock the Assembly Director System recipe and Assembler. Feed the machine Adaptive Control Units and Supercomputers; these are crafted components, not deposits to search for.
Assembly Director System is Project Part #6, manufactured in an Assembler for shipment through the Space Elevator. It requires Adaptive Control Units and Supercomputers, linking two advanced production chains. It is also used in the Biochemical Sculptor recipe. Its bottleneck is the low-volume supply of both inputs, particularly if Adaptive Control Units are also being reserved for other project parts. Recipe rates assume a 100% clock.

How to craft
Before you craft
Assembler and recipe unlocked
2 Adaptive Control Units and 1 Supercomputer per batch
Unlock the recipe and build an Assembler with two input lines.
Supply Adaptive Control Units from their Manufacturer production chain.
Supply Supercomputers from their own production line.
Route system output to the Space Elevator or reserve it for Biochemical Sculptor production.
Check input buffers and competing consumers before allocating the parts.
Keep output storage clear so the Assembler can continue.
Crafting tips
At 100% clock, input demand is 1.5 Adaptive Control Units/min and 0.75 Supercomputers/min.
The Assembler produces 0.75 Assembly Director Systems/min at 100% clock.
The project part consumes more Adaptive Control Units than its output rate; plan reserves accordingly.
Repeat, collect and use
Maintain both input flows and direct each completed system to the currently active project or recipe.
Common mistakes
Searching for Assembly Director Systems as a world pickup instead of assembling them.
Building the line without reserving Adaptive Control Units and Supercomputers from competing uses.
When to stop or switch
Stop production when the project quota and planned Biochemical Sculptor reserve are met, or either input supply is needed elsewhere.
