Use the map to locate a displayed Purple Power Slug site, then inspect the location in game. A map marker alone does not tell you whether you have already collected it.

A Purple Power Slug is a placed collectible. Use the map to find a displayed site, travel there, and check whether the slug remains available. Collect it if present, then take it to a Constructor if you want to make Power Shards: the Purple recipe consumes one slug and produces five shards. Wild placed slugs are one-time pickups, so a depleted site will not provide another slug on a repeat visit. Keep track of locations you have collected if you plan to search for more. Do not treat the slug as a resource node or as an item manufactured by a production line.

How to farm

Before you go

Access to a displayed Purple Power Slug location
Constructor configured for Power Shard (5) if converting the slug

Open the map and identify a displayed Purple Power Slug site.
Travel to that location and inspect it in game.
Collect the slug if it is still present.
Return with the slug if you want to convert it into Power Shards.
Use a Constructor with the Power Shard (5) recipe to make five shards.
Keep track of depleted locations before searching for another slug.

Farming tips

One Purple Power Slug produces five Power Shards in a Constructor.
Wild placed slugs are one-time pickups; collected locations are not repeatable sources.
Check the site itself rather than assuming its map marker means the slug remains.

Repeat, collect and use

Visit another displayed site that you have not collected if you need more Purple Power Slugs.

Common mistakes

Returning to a collected site expecting the slug to respawn.
Assuming a map marker confirms the slug is still available at the location.

When to stop or switch

Leave a site after collecting its slug. Stop searching when you have enough for your planned Power Shard production.
