Find Crude Oil nodes and wells on the resource map, then verify the source type and location in your world. Pipe extracted oil to a Refinery running the intended recipe.
Crude Oil is a raw liquid extracted from resource nodes or wells, then refined into products such as Fuel, Plastic, and Rubber. Use the structure that matches your source: an Oil Extractor for a node, or a Resource Well Pressurizer on a well’s core with Resource Well Extractors on its satellites. Refineries can produce coproducts, so plan outlets for every output. The resource map shows the standard layout; randomized worlds may differ.
Scan for Crude Oil nodes and inspect accessible sites. Resource Wells are a separate later extraction option; compare the available oil source with the intended refinery location and fluid route.
