CRAFTING & INGREDIENTS

Diamonds acquisition

Select the Diamonds recipe in a Particle Accelerator, feed it Coal, and route output to a consumer. The alternate recipes use different ingredients and require their own unlocks.

Diamonds are manufactured from Coal in a Particle Accelerator. The default recipe consumes 20 Coal per batch and yields 1 Diamond. At 100% clock, it uses 600 Coal and makes 30 Diamonds per minute. Accelerator power use varies from 250 to 750 MW, averaging 500 MW. Diamonds feed Time Crystal production in a Converter and Dark Matter Crystal production in another Particle Accelerator. Keep the Coal supply and power grid ready for the chosen production rate.

GET STARTED

How to craft

Before you craft

  • Diamonds recipe and Particle Accelerator.
  • Coal delivered at the intended rate.
  • Power capacity for the Accelerator’s variable demand.
  1. Place a Particle Accelerator and select the Diamonds recipe.
  2. Connect a Coal supply and clear the output route for Diamonds.
  3. At 100% clock, supply 600 Coal per minute for 30 Diamonds per minute.
  4. Check that the power grid can support a 250–750 MW variable draw.
  5. Route Diamonds to Time Crystal or Dark Matter Crystal production as needed.
  6. If output falls short, inspect Coal delivery and power before adding capacity.

Crafting tips

  • The default batch consumes 20 Coal and produces 1 Diamond.
  • Alternate Diamond recipes require their unlocks and may use other ingredients.
  • Diamonds are manufactured, not gathered from resource nodes.

Repeat, collect and use

Keep Coal and power available, then add Accelerator capacity only if consumer demand calls for it.

Common mistakes

  • Do not search for natural Diamond nodes; make Diamonds from Coal in a Particle Accelerator.
  • Do not assume the Accelerator has a fixed power draw; its listed range is 250–750 MW.

When to stop or switch

Stop increasing Diamond production when consumers stay supplied and the power grid remains reliable.
