CRAFTING & INGREDIENTS

Power Shard acquisition

Collect a Power Slug at a placed location and process it in a Constructor using the matching Power Shard recipe.

Power Shards are made from Power Slugs in a Constructor. The recipe depends on slug color: one Blue Power Slug yields one shard, one Yellow Power Slug yields two, and one Purple Power Slug yields five. Collect slugs at their placed locations, then bring them to a Constructor configured with the matching recipe. Wild placed slugs are one-time pickups, so a collected location is not a repeatable supply. Power Shards are used in the Ionized Fuel and Alien Power Matrix recipes; check that the recipe you want is available and has its other ingredients before routing shards there.

GET STARTED

How to craft

Before you craft

  • Constructor configured for the matching Power Shard recipe
  • A Blue, Yellow, or Purple Power Slug
  • Storage or an available recipe that can use the resulting shards
  1. Find a placed Power Slug location and collect an available slug.
  2. Bring the slug to your production area.
  3. Set a Constructor to the recipe matching the slug's color.
  4. Supply the Power Slug and collect the resulting Power Shards.
  5. Store the shards or route them to an available Ionized Fuel or Alien Power Matrix recipe.
  6. Check for other required ingredients before starting the downstream recipe.

Crafting tips

  • The color recipes yield one shard from Blue, two from Yellow, and five from Purple.
  • At 100% clock, a Constructor produces 7.5 Blue, 10 Yellow, or 12.5 Purple Power Shards per minute.
  • Wild slug locations are one-time pickups; do not plan recurring production from a collected site.

Repeat, collect and use

Process another slug when you have one available and have storage or a use for its shard output.

Common mistakes

  • Assuming every slug color produces the same number of Power Shards.
  • Planning a repeatable supply from a wild slug location after collecting its one-time pickup.

When to stop or switch

Stop when you have the shard stock you need or run out of slugs, storage, or downstream demand.
