CRAFTING & INGREDIENTS

Ballistic Warp Drive acquisition

Produce Ballistic Warp Drives in a Manufacturer using the standard recipe. They are manufactured parts, not world pickups.

Ballistic Warp Drive is Project Part #11. Manufacture it in a Manufacturer, then send the finished parts through the Space Elevator for Project Assembly. Each recipe batch consumes 1 Thermal Propulsion Rocket, 5 Singularity Cells, 2 Superposition Oscillators, and 40 Dark Matter Crystals, producing 1 Ballistic Warp Drive. At a 100% clock, the Manufacturer produces 1 part per minute and needs the same ingredient quantities per minute. Make sure all four input lines can keep pace, especially the substantial Dark Matter Crystal supply, before relying on the output for a phase.

How to craft

Before you craft

  • Unlock the Ballistic Warp Drive recipe and Manufacturer.
  • Supply Thermal Propulsion Rockets, Singularity Cells, Superposition Oscillators, and Dark Matter Crystals.
  • Provide power and a way to move the finished parts to the Space Elevator.
  1. Place and power a Manufacturer, then select Ballistic Warp Drive.
  2. Connect delivery for Thermal Propulsion Rockets and supply 1 per batch.
  3. Supply 5 Singularity Cells and 2 Superposition Oscillators per batch.
  4. Feed 40 Dark Matter Crystals per batch and check that every input is arriving.
  5. Collect the output and transport Ballistic Warp Drives to the Space Elevator.

Crafting tips

  • At a 100% clock, plan for 1 part per minute with 40 Dark Matter Crystals per minute.
  • Check input buffers if the Manufacturer pauses; one missing ingredient stops the recipe.

Repeat, collect and use

Keep the Manufacturer supplied with complete ingredient batches until you have enough parts for the Project Assembly phase.

Common mistakes

  • Do not omit any of the four ingredients when balancing input supply.
  • Do not mistake the recipe's 40 Dark Matter Crystals for a total shared across multiple batches.

When to stop or switch

Stop production when the current Project Assembly phase has the Ballistic Warp Drives it requires.
