CRAFTING & INGREDIENTS

Thermal Propulsion Rocket acquisition

Build a Manufacturer, unlock the Thermal Propulsion Rocket recipe, and supply the four named ingredients. Send completed rockets to the Space Elevator for Project Assembly.

Thermal Propulsion Rocket is Project Part #8. Send it through the Space Elevator to complete Project Assembly phases. Manufacture it in a Manufacturer from Modular Engine, Turbo Motor, Cooling System, and Fused Modular Frame. The bottleneck is coordinating these four advanced parts; the recipe consumes them in uneven quantities, so the scarcest ingredient limits output.

GET STARTED

How to craft

Before you craft

  • Manufacturer and Thermal Propulsion Rocket recipe unlocked.
  • Modular Engine, Turbo Motor, Cooling System, and Fused Modular Frame.
  1. Unlock the recipe and place a powered Manufacturer.
  2. Select Thermal Propulsion Rocket.
  3. Supply Modular Engine, Turbo Motor, Cooling System, and Fused Modular Frame.
  4. Route the output to storage or the Space Elevator feed.
  5. Deliver the required rockets through the Space Elevator for the relevant Project Assembly phase.

Crafting tips

  • At 100% clock, each 120-second batch consumes 5 Modular Engine, 2 Turbo Motor, 6 Cooling System, and 2 Fused Modular Frame, producing 2 rockets; listed rates are 2.5, 1, 3, and 1 inputs per minute and 1 rocket per minute.
  • Keep an eye on Turbo Motors and Fused Modular Frames, which are each required at 1 per minute at the listed rate.

Repeat, collect and use

Continue batches and elevator deliveries until the required Project Assembly contribution is complete.

Common mistakes

  • Searching for Thermal Propulsion Rockets as a node resource instead of producing them.
  • Supplying only the more numerous ingredients while a missing input blocks the Manufacturer.

When to stop or switch

Stop production after the Space Elevator project requirement is satisfied or when you have enough rockets in reserve.
