CRAFTING & INGREDIENTS Computer acquisition Build a Manufacturer and select the Computer recipe after unlocking it. Computers are manufactured parts, not node resources.
Computers are complex logic components used in advanced production, including Supercomputers, Radio Control Units, and Adaptive Control Units. The default recipe runs in a Manufacturer and requires Circuit Boards, Cable, and Plastic. Circuit Board throughput is a likely bottleneck because each Computer batch needs four boards, while the other inputs must also arrive steadily.

Before you craft Unlock the Computer recipe and Manufacturer. For one batch: 4 Circuit Boards, 8 Cable, and 16 Plastic produce 1 Computer. Set up or reserve a Circuit Board line capable of supplying four boards per batch. Route Cable and Plastic to the Manufacturer location. Build and power a Manufacturer, then select Computer. Connect all three ingredient inputs and verify that none is starved. Collect Computers and route them to Supercomputer, Radio Control Unit, or Adaptive Control Unit production as needed. Increase component delivery if the Manufacturer pauses repeatedly. Crafting tips At 100% clock, the recipe consumes 10 Circuit Boards, 20 Cable, and 40 Plastic per minute, producing 2.5 Computers per minute. The listed Super-State Computer recipe is optional and requires its own unlock. Repeat, collect and use Keep production running while your advanced component line or storage target needs Computers; maintain buffers for all three inputs.
Common mistakes Do not search for Computers at a resource node; they are made in a Manufacturer. Do not size the line around Circuit Boards alone; Cable and Plastic are also required inputs. When to stop or switch Stop or reduce production when the Computer buffer meets demand or another recipe needs the input parts more urgently.
