Circuit Boards are advanced electronics components used in Computers, Adaptive Control Units, and High-Speed Connectors. The default recipe runs in an Assembler and consumes Copper Sheets and Plastic. Plastic supply is often the key planning constraint because the recipe requires twice as many Plastic items as Copper Sheets per batch.

How to craft

Before you craft

Unlock the Circuit Board recipe and Assembler.
For one batch: 2 Copper Sheets and 4 Plastic produce 1 Circuit Board.

Arrange a supply of Copper Sheets from their production line.
Route Plastic to the same factory area and buffer enough for the board line.
Build and power an Assembler, then select Circuit Board.
Connect both ingredient inputs and verify the 2:4 ratio per batch.
Collect output and route it to Computers, Adaptive Control Units, or High-Speed Connectors as needed.
Expand input delivery if the Assembler repeatedly pauses for either ingredient.

Crafting tips

At 100% clock, the recipe consumes 15 Copper Sheets and 30 Plastic per minute and produces 7.5 Circuit Boards per minute.
Crystal Computer and Silicon High-Speed Connector are optional alternate recipes listed as consumers, not default Circuit Board recipes.

Repeat, collect and use

Run the Assembler while either its buffer or downstream electronics demand calls for boards; replenish both inputs together.

Common mistakes

Do not look for Circuit Boards on the resource map; manufacture them in an Assembler.
Do not supply Copper Sheets while neglecting Plastic, or vice versa; either shortage stops output.
