CRAFTING & INGREDIENTS

Packaged Fuel acquisition

Make Packaged Fuel in a Packager connected to a Fuel supply and Empty Canisters. Route the solid output to its user or transport line.

Packaged Fuel is Fuel in a solid form that is easier to move between locations. You can use it to fuel vehicles and the Jetpack. A Packager fills Empty Canisters with Fuel; unpackaging the result returns both Fuel and canisters. Each standard batch uses 2 m³ of Fuel and 2 Empty Canisters to make 2 Packaged Fuel. The listed output rate is 40 items per minute. Keep the Fuel line and canister supply steady, and plan where the returned canisters will re-enter production.

GET STARTED

How to craft

Before you craft

  • A Packager with the Packaged Fuel recipe available.
  • Fuel and Empty Canisters delivered to the Packager.
  1. Place a Packager where the Fuel line and canister delivery can reach it.
  2. Connect Fuel and Empty Canisters to the machine.
  3. Select Packaged Fuel as the recipe and check that both inputs are arriving.
  4. Route the packaged output to vehicle fueling, Jetpack use, or onward transport.
  5. When you need liquid Fuel again, run Unpackage Fuel in a Packager.
  6. Send the returned Empty Canisters back to a packaging input.

Crafting tips

  • Each batch consumes 2 m³ Fuel and 2 Empty Canisters and yields 2 items.
  • Packaged Fuel can fuel vehicles and the Jetpack.

Repeat, collect and use

Supply Fuel and canisters, collect the packaged output, and recirculate returned canisters after unpackaging.

Common mistakes

  • Searching for Packaged Fuel as a world deposit instead of producing it in a Packager.
  • Feeding the machine without Empty Canisters or expecting packaging to make Fuel.

When to stop or switch

Stop when the vehicle, Jetpack, or transport stock is sufficient, or when Fuel should serve another production line.
