Rocket Fuel is a compressed gas fuel that can power Fuel-Powered Generators directly or be packaged for vehicles and the Jetpack. This recipe unpacks Packaged Rocket Fuel in a Packager, yielding gas and an Empty Fluid Tank coproduct. A separate Ionized Fuel Refinery recipe consumes Rocket Fuel and produces both Ionized Fuel and Compacted Coal, so account for those outputs if using that route.

Before you craft
Unlock the Unpackage Rocket Fuel recipe and Packager.
Packaged Rocket Fuel input and output handling for Rocket Fuel and Empty Fluid Tanks.
Obtain Packaged Rocket Fuel from its production or supply line.
Place a Packager and select Unpackage Rocket Fuel.
Connect the packaged input and provide power.
Collect Rocket Fuel gas from the fluid output.
Handle the Empty Fluid Tank coproduct separately.
Send gas to Fuel-Powered Generators or package it again for vehicle or Jetpack use.
Crafting tips
At 100% clock, one packaged item yields 2 m³ Rocket Fuel and one Empty Fluid Tank per batch; normalized rates are 120 m³ gas and 60 tanks per minute.
For Ionized Fuel, the Refinery route has two distinct products: Ionized Fuel and Compacted Coal.
Repeat, collect and use
Check packaged feed, gas output capacity, and Empty Fluid Tank handling whenever you change production scale.
Common mistakes
Ignoring the Empty Fluid Tank coproduct and allowing the Packager output to block.
