Valheim FARMING GUIDES

Know what to farm.
And where to go.

Valheim farming combines crop cultivation, biome-gated resource runs, dungeon clears and enemy drops. The Cultivator establishes renewable crop plots, while ore progression sends players into increasingly dangerous biomes. Standard portals restrict ores and metal bars under normal world settings; Portal – Stone and portal modifiers change those rules. Plan transport around your current equipment and world settings.

Plan a route for ore and bars

With normal world settings, standard wooden portals block ore, scrap, and smelted metal bars alike. Use the Ashlands Portal – Stone, with a departure portal that supports the items, or world settings that allow restricted items. Otherwise, haul both ore and bars by foot, cart, or ship.
